Cheryl Musch, Executive Director
Cheryl joined Partners for Just Trade as Executive Director in July 2011.  Prior to her work at PJT, Cheryl was Director of International Development for SERRV, one of the first and largest Fair Trade organizations in the U.S., where she traveled extensively to visit fair trade artisan and farmer organizations in Africa, Asia and Latin America.  She became well-acquainted with the potential and challenges of small-scale producers throughout the world, and led the development of ArtisanWork.org, a website to assist artisans.

Cheryl is active in the international Fair Trade community and has served as the Executive Director for both the Fair Trade Federation, the U.S. trade association for Fair Trade wholesalers and retailers, and the Fair Trade Resource Network, an organization dedicated to Fair Trade education and information, which she helped found.

She has also been active in Fair Trade retail at stores including Crossroads Global Handcrafts in Bloomington, IL and Global Exchange in Berkeley, CA.

Cheryl is on the board of directors of the Fair Trade Resource Network.  She enjoys travel, vegetable gardening, weaving, and knitting.

Roland Kramer, Office and Inventory Manager
Roland is a St. Louis native and entrepreneur who started working at PJT in September 2010. He completed a BSBA in Finance at the University of Phoenix and comes to PJT with over ten years of experience in banking, office management and customer service. In addition to working for PJT, Roland operates a small laser etching business and web development company with his wife.  He enjoys the variety of people and challenging projects running a family business brings, but also wanted to put his prior expertise to use in the small non-profit business world.

Roland and his family are very committed to the revitalization of St. Louis city, especially the Tower Grove neighborhood, where they live and work.

Peggy Eng, Sales Coordinator
After completing a BFA in Jewelry/Metals Peggy moved to Tennessee to study blacksmithing. In 1986 she established a design studio making one of a kind and limited edition pieces of jewelry. Relocating to St. Louis in 1988, Peggy continued to grow her business through selling to galleries and upscale boutiques and exhibiting at prestigious art fairs such as the Smithsonian Craft Show. She has participated in over 180 trade shows and juried art fairs.

In conjunction with her studio work Peggy began volunteering at Plowsharing Crafts, a local Fair Trade store. Eventually she became part of the staff as Visual Merchandiser and assisted in product selection from various vendors. She designed and executed Plowsharing’s second store in 2002.

In 2009, Peggy was given an opportunity by PJT to work with Munay Rumi, a jewelry artisan group on the outskirts of Lima, on design development. It was a tremendous experience. Finding alternative funding, she returned in 2010 to continue working with Munay Rumi and help further their progress.

Peggy lives in St. Louis with her husband, daughter, and two bunnies. She enjoys cooking, gardening, practicing tai chi and yoga, and hanging out with her family.
