Strengthening Partnerships

PJT works closely with the Peruvian organization, Bridge of Hope, and the artisan groups whose products we buy from Peru. We feel this close relationship is important as it enables us to guarantee that our products are indeed being produced according to Fair Trade practices. This close relationship also allows us to assist the artisans in product design and development, and share trends and ideas from the North American market.

PJT's Executive Director spent 4 weeks working with over 18 artisan groups on product design and pricing. She also spent time listening to their stories so we can share them with our customers and facilitate a cultural exchange through the products we sell.
