for Just Trade is a non-profit organization
that began as an initiative
of the Presbyterian Hunger Program's Joining Hands Peru Network. We have a close relationship with over 20 different artisan groups in Peru and sell their fairly traded products here in the states. Our fairly traded products support social and economic justice and are a perfect accompaniment to the Bible Lessons taught in the Rainforest Adventures.

These adorable
animals are not only cute but they're
functional as well. Each backpack has a unique
handmade touch. The fabric in the pig backpack
is traditional manta and the elephant has
shipibo fabric decorating its
ears. Shipibo is a hand painted
fabric from the northeastern jungles of Peru.

We've adjusted this traditional pom pom that's been worn as an adornment in the Incan culture for hundreds of years to work as a zipper pull or a luggage tie. Put it on a backpack and there's no way it will get lost in the crowd.
