10 Ways to Get Involved
We're so glad
you found Partners for Just Trade and hope that
you find our website useful for learning about
Fair Trade and a great place to find unique
products for yourself and for others. Now we
want to help you find out more about Fair Trade
and how to get yourself and your community
involved.
1. Educate yourself
2. Educate others
Once you've learned
what Fair Trade is and how it benefits others,
share your knowledge with other people who do
not know about Fair Trade. Host a talk at your
local coffee shop, school, library, or place of
worship.
3. Host a Partnership Sale
Sell a box of a
variety of PJT products at your school, place
of worship, or at local events. It's a great
way to support our nearly 100% volunteer-run
organization and let people know of an
alternative way to shop. We even give you
promotional materials to make your sale as
effortless as possible.
4. Have fun!
Have a party and
serve Fair Trade coffee, chocolate, and fruit.
Show PJT's film on Fair Trade, A
Thousand Fibers: Binding Together through Fair
Trade.
5. Investigate
Find stores that
carry Fair Trade and shop there. Fill out comment
cards at stores that don't and ask them to
carry more Fair Trade products. You can also
join the Adopt-a-Supermarket
Campaign and they'll give you resources to
help.
6. Donate
Partners for Just Trade is a non-profit
organization and contributions from friends
makes it easier for us to grow our global
partnerships. Donate
